The Parking Garage at Central Library offers free two-hour parking for Library patrons (entrance on N. Quincy Street).

The Parking Garage closes when the Library closes. Any vehicles left in the garage after hours may be retrieved when the library reopens.

The nearest Metro Rail station is East Falls Church Station, which is a 20-minute walk to the library. When exiting the station, turn to the right and head toward the "Kiss & Ride" parking lot. On the back wall of the lot, a staircase leads to the Washington & Old (W&OD) Dominion Trail (which is a paved, dual-use urban trail). Take a right on to the trail, and follow it to Little Falls St. Take a left onto Little Falls St and follow that to Park Ave. Take a left on Park Ave and go one block to the library, which will be on your left.

There is plenty of free parking available in the Kaiser Parking Deck located across the street from 111 Park Ave. This is two blocks from the library and approximately a 5-minute walk to the library.

The top two levels of this deck are FREE public parking on weekends.

Additionally, there is LIMITED free public parking across the street from the parking deck.
