NoVaLUG holds monthly, in-person meetings with or without a keynote presentation. Meetings are normally held the third Saturday of the month from 10am to Noon.

Monthly Meeting of the Northern Virginia Linux Users Group
Topic: Meshtastic
Meshtastic is a messaging protocol that works over Long Range Radio (LoRa), creating adhoc, mesh networks that do not required centralized control. Meshtastic meshes may be melded to MQTT relays, giving mesh networks regional, even global, reach.
