NoVaLUG holds monthly, in-person meetings with or without a keynote presentation. Meetings are normally held the third Saturday of the month from 10am to Noon.

NoVaLUG Monthly Meeting - Geek-a-thon

This meeting is intended to be more of a social event than a presentation.

What is a Geek-a-thon?

  • Geek Meme Contest: send us your memes ahead of time, and we'll see which are the funniest

  • Lightning Talks: come give a quick talk about something interesting

  • Hack-fest: have some hardware you want to show off or need help with... bring it!

  • Gear-swap: bring gear you want to swap with others or just give away. To bring gear into the office, it must be 30lbs or lighter and fit through a person-sized door. Exchanges of larger gear can be accommodated in the parking lot.
